2pac has had a HUGE impact in my life. I love this man more than words can speak. I dont even know where to start...since he died I've been trying to get everyone to listen to him...all my friends n it didn't matter what kind of music they listened to b/c like you said there's a lil pac in all of us. it's such a horrible thing to lose someone like 2Pac , whos been in the Ghetto and has seen the pain, has seen horrible days and nights in his life, has got hurt, has got beated from people who is his real enemies(Police). but with all of this, what we found is, he still warmhearted, he still got love to his mother,family, to his Homies, to his fans to every body he met, no matter from east from west Or from whateva.....laughing, having fun with everybody, and still smiling for the world.

makaveli aka 2pac to me is a legend, but also human.........a re-invention of the late great Robert 'nesta' bob marley. he spoke; voiced, created, exploded a message that was waiting to be released, like: his first album 2pacalypse now and the track 'words of wisdom' attacked America's corrupt problems, who would have the nerve to do that. But then u have a 2pac who's surprising gentle e.g. dear mama, his songs speaks, his lyrics r unique, but only for people who can really understand his ways. Time flies so quickly. Yet some persons you never forget. Tupac Amaru has been a part of my life since I first saw a picture of him back in 1993. He has been my biggest inspiration ever since.

On this day in history, a great man was taken away from the face of the earth. Tupac Shakur was a historical figure in music as well as society. As a young black male, he was targeted and envied because of his emense amount of talent. But the saying of the good die young is true, and it was destiny that his departure happened. So in tribute to Tupac, I wanna say thank you Pac. You inspired me as a writer and as a person. I love your music so much, it was genius. I guess you must have been too good for this world, that's why you left us. You're in a better place now so I guess thugs do have a place in heaven. RIP Pac, see you when I get there.

And, you might think this is just another goodbye.
But, like many of you Tupac Amaru Shakur has touched my life. It was a devestating day, 4 years ago.

2Pac's legacy will live on forever. No one will ever forget him because of what he accomplished in his short life. He was not afraid to stick up for what he believed in and that should be an example for everyone. His music has probably touched everyone in at least one way. If not for him, I would have never listened to rap. He is the best of all time and it will be a while before someone else can claim that title.

First up, let me admit it. I'm white. Yeah I get laughed at, but who cares. 2pac was the first rapper I ever listened to, and to me he's still the best. I don't know if he's dead or alive, but either way he's still with us. Pac, wherever you are, we miss you.

First of all I want to give my condolences and regards to all the family of Tupac Shakur. That needs to be addressed first. He was great entertainer, but to his family he was much more than that, and the lost they have is more painful than any Tupac fan could ever have. In the immortal words of Tupac, keep ya head up.

I didn't always agree with all the decisions Tupac made as an artist. I don't think anyone who follows an artist career and is a fan and an admirer of a certain artist agrees with everything that artist does, but I didn't like some of the things he did in the latter part of his career. I did, however, admire him for his obvious talent, and his willingness to speak up and be held accountable for those things that he believed in. In the age now where entertainers, not just rapper, but all entertainers are ducking and dodging the media and any attempts to be vocal about things effecting their community, Tupac didn't. He stood up for what he thought was right, even if no one else shared his sentiments. I've always respected that about him. That's what I miss the most about Tupac. The music is still here, every year there seems to be a Tupac release hitting the shelves, so the music lives on.

2pac is the all time greatest rapper in da world. I am his greatest fan. Keep up the good work. I listen to his music all day everyday and I commend him on his role in the industry.

2Pac was a deep, multi-faceted individual. 2Pac's lyrics always went deep into the meaning of many political and social subjects including violence, drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and broken families. He was well read as noted by his extensive reading list. 2Pac's poetry also reflected his many sides, some poems were motivated by love, others seekin g to understand himself better and others by the cruel injustices of America and society.

2Pac was famous for being down to die for everything he represented -- always real and upfront. Some people consider 2Pac a modern-day prophet. Reading some of 2Pac's interviews, lyrics and quotes, its not hard to see why.

Being real and upfront, trouble always seemed to come naturally. Tupac was charged with rape, a crime he did not commit, but was still convicted of sodomy (forcibly touching the buttocks). Many witnesses seen the girl who made these accusations volunta rily give 2Pac oral sex on a night club dance floor. Tupac was also charged with shooting two off-duty police officers, but those charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. The fatal shooting in Vegas was the second shooting 2Pac was involved. The first occured in 1994 in New York.

Most likely, 2Pac's killer was Orlando Anderson, a south-side crip. Theories abound as to who coordinated the hit. Some believe it happened spur of the moment out of Orlando's rage. Others believe Suge Knight had 2Pac killed. The Las Vegas Times recently reported Biggie Smalls had 2Pac killed. Still others, believe it was an elaborate scheme and 2Pac is still alive (he faked his own death).
