[repeat 5X]
Maybe it's the thug in me
[2Pac]
Ever since I was a young scrub
I was a thug on the corner with my niggaz slangin drugs
And runnin from the NARC's when they pass by, don't ask why
I'm a hustler, 'til my ass die
Even if I do come up, I'll be ready when they run up, huh
I'll be a nut to put my gun up, huh
I never trust these hoes at all
Fuckin with them tramp-ass sluts you supposed to fall
Said she played you for your money but the shit was cool
Yes it's true, niggaz be bitches too
You can't see how she worked you, all up in the skirt
Now you lookin like a jerk cause she hurt you
Now head's up, don't be a playa hater, just peep game
Keep your mind on your money watch the bitch change
See hoes love thugs, and thugs love loot
Hand it over motherfucker 'fore I shoot - who do you love?
[Chorus: repeat 2X except last line second time]
Maybe it's the thug in me, maybe it's the thug in me
Tell me who do you love?
Maybe it's the thug in me, maybe it's the thug in me
Who do you love?
[2Pac]
I'm livin that, thug life bay-bee!
Steady smokin indo, goin cra-zy
Baby come and hug me when you rub me, turn the lights down
We in the dark, do you love me?
Everybody's talkin 'bout they, KNOW ME
But they ain't down like my motherfuckin homies
Tell me what you need when you, SEE ME
And we can get it on, BEOTCH, take it ea-sy
Don't try to hold me, control me
But you can take my number baby call me when you lone-ly
Cause it's a man's world, ain't no need to ask why
I'm high 'til I die, and strapped with my fo'-five
Cause you can lose it in the gutter
I wonder if I'll die by the hands of another broke motherfucker
They call me the alcoholer, I'm all in
Thug for life nigga ballin
I'm gettin tired of these hoes tryin to play me
You can't fade me and my niggaz goin crazy
All day long I'm straight thuggin, and constantly mean muggin
Breakin the bitches that be buggin tell me who do you love?
[Chorus - this time with the last line the second time]
This Site's Mission
The site showcases Tupac Shakur, a multi-talented legend, who was born in New York, New York on June 16, 1971 and died from fatal gun shot wounds in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 13, 1996. Not only famous for his music, he was also a well respected actor with several films.
2Pac was a deep, multi-faceted individual. 2Pac's lyrics always went deep into the meaning of many political and social subjects including violence, drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and broken families. He was well read as noted by his extensive reading list. 2Pac's poetry also reflected his many sides, some poems were motivated by love, others seeking to understand himself better and others by the cruel injustices of America and society.
2Pac was famous for being down to die for everything he represented -- always real and upfront. Some people consider 2Pac a modern-day prophet. Reading some of 2Pac's interviews, lyrics and quotes, its not hard to see why.
Being real and upfront, trouble always seemed to come naturally. Tupac was charged with rape, a crime he did not commit, but was still convicted of sodomy (forcibly touching the buttocks). Many witnesses seen the girl who made these accusations voluntarily give 2Pac oral sex on a night club dance floor. Tupac was also charged with shooting two off-duty police officers, but those charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence.
The fatal shooting in Vegas was the second shooting 2Pac was involved. The first occured in 1994 in New York.
Most likely, 2Pac's killer was Orlando Anderson, a south-side crip. Theories abound as to who coordinated the hit. Some believe it happened spur of the moment out of Orlando's rage. Others believe Suge Knight had 2Pac killed. The Las Vegas Times recently reported Biggie Smalls had 2Pac killed. Still others, believe it was an elaborate scheme and 2Pac is still alive (he faked his own death).
This site contains pictures of 2Pac, the latest news about 2Pac products and projects, information on 2Pac's tattoos, and anything else 2Pac related. The mission of this site is to show all sides of Tupac -- his thoughts, inspirations, and direction in life. All of this is to be shown through Tupac's lyrics, poetry, and interviews. Hopefully, we can give you a better understanding of Tupac Shakur.
