2Pac (Tupac Shakur) - Street Fame Lyrics
Tupac Shakur

Representing Tupac online since 1996!
"We talk a lot about Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr., but it's time to be like them, as strong as them. They were mortal men like us and everyone of us can be like them. I don't want to be a role model. I just want to be someone who says, this is who I am, this is what I do. I say what's on my mind." -- Tupac Amaru Shakur (T.I.P)

It was a dope spot from y'all
One on one strappin'
That's the way it was when the four of us was strappin'
I'm a fuckin' class from the Gs in the hood
Puttin' worth, did some dirt
Now a snitch never would
Blowin' fat jag blunts with my nigga P
Growin' up
Time comin' back sippin Henessey
We said we seniors are old
And I felt like a god man bitch
And i had my pickup '85 bitch
And my family was known to be great
See Syke Moore representin' no matter who sets it on
Street power
Why you niggas flip and do dumb shit
I be bout my motherfuckin' grip
Nothing else comes between me and my nine
Remember that
Damn its a shame
But still I'm in the game
I'm tryin to get street fame

(chorus)

(Syke)
Don't blame my mama
Don't blame my daddy
I know they wish they never had me
In and out of jail by 12
Failing out of school
Cause I was livin' by the street rules
Hangin with hogs
Dropping bombs as a little locc
I was gettin my respect but i was still rude
Into the game and slang
Into the cocaine
With 'em double ups
We slangin them whole things
Hey I just told my mail man
You hangin like a bail
And even with no proof they gonna put me in jail
Everbody says he's sold and I'm outta control
Motherfuckers gossip and I still roll
Bitches want my cash on my dash on my pac-vit
They wouldn't know a motherfucker if he didn't have shit
So while I'm ballin and kickin up dust
Get ya skull crushed
Bitch made niggas know not to fuck with us
Cause I'm livin on the edge
I'm blastin lead
Wanted by the feds they got to take me dead
So fuck it try to duck it in the inner city
In the land of no pity
I made it by the street fame

(chorus)

(Rated R)
Ima superstar made it by the street fame
I had to make some people feel the pain
In this dirty game
I know I'm on my way to hell
Hey yo gather it up for all the niggas that have been smoked
The hood that took me under
A nigga gots the heart
Don't get it twisted cause I'm mad with my homey's score
I kill for my niggas, my niggas kill for me
Thats the love you get from the turf when you out at work
See? Ima G
When a gang of niggas after me trying to peel me
Cause I smoked their homey
Well don't feel proud
Cause around here thats what makes it worse
I smoke blunts all day to keep my mind off them
They don't stop
Through my casket drop-top let me ride
All i want is Shatmo
He's a god
And it don't matter if a rapper plays
Cause I cought the back of some minds
Fuck the fame

(chorus)...

(fade out)

This Site's Mission
The site showcases Tupac Shakur, a multi-talented legend, who was born in New York, New York on June 16, 1971 and died from fatal gun shot wounds in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 13, 1996. Not only famous for his music, he was also a well respected actor with several films.

2Pac was a deep, multi-faceted individual. 2Pac's lyrics always went deep into the meaning of many political and social subjects including violence, drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and broken families. He was well read as noted by his extensive reading list. 2Pac's poetry also reflected his many sides, some poems were motivated by love, others seeking to understand himself better and others by the cruel injustices of America and society.

2Pac was famous for being down to die for everything he represented -- always real and upfront. Some people consider 2Pac a modern-day prophet. Reading some of 2Pac's interviews, lyrics and quotes, its not hard to see why.

Being real and upfront, trouble always seemed to come naturally. Tupac was charged with rape, a crime he did not commit, but was still convicted of sodomy (forcibly touching the buttocks). Many witnesses seen the girl who made these accusations voluntarily give 2Pac oral sex on a night club dance floor. Tupac was also charged with shooting two off-duty police officers, but those charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. The fatal shooting in Vegas was the second shooting 2Pac was involved. The first occured in 1994 in New York.

Most likely, 2Pac's killer was Orlando Anderson, a south-side crip. Theories abound as to who coordinated the hit. Some believe it happened spur of the moment out of Orlando's rage. Others believe Suge Knight had 2Pac killed. The Las Vegas Times recently reported Biggie Smalls had 2Pac killed. Still others, believe it was an elaborate scheme and 2Pac is still alive (he faked his own death).

This site contains pictures of 2Pac, the latest news about 2Pac products and projects, information on 2Pac's tattoos, and anything else 2Pac related. The mission of this site is to show all sides of Tupac -- his thoughts, inspirations, and direction in life. All of this is to be shown through Tupac's lyrics, poetry, and interviews. Hopefully, we can give you a better understanding of Tupac Shakur.
