2Pac (Tupac Shakur) - It Ain't Easy Lyrics
Tupac Shakur

Representing Tupac online since 1996!
"Everytime I speak, I want the truth to come out. Everytime I speak I want [them to] shiver, I don't want them to be like they know what I'm gonna say cuz it's [always] polite. They know what I'm gonna say? And even if I get in trouble, ain't that what we supposed to do?" -- Tupac Amaru Shakur (T.I.P)

I take a shot of Henessey
now I'm strong enough to face the madness
nickel bags full of sess weed laced with hash
phone calls from my niggas on the other side
two childhood friends just died
I couldn't cry
A damn shame, when will we ever change
And what remains
from a twelve gauge to the brain
Arguements with my foolish troop
I spend more time with my niggas then I
do with you
But everywhere it's the same thang
that's the game, I'll be damned if a thang changed
Fuck the fame
I'll be hustling to make a million
lord knows, ain't no love for us ghetto children
so we cold, rag top slowin' down
time to stop for gas
peep my horn for a hoochie with a proper ass
Uhh, It ain't easy, that's my motto
drinkin' tangeray straight out da bottle
everybody wanna know if I'm insane
my baby mama gotta mind full of silly games
all the drama got me stressen like I'm hopeless
I can't cope
me and my homies smokin' roaches
cuz we broke
late night hangin' out till the sunrise
getten high
watchin' the cops roll by
Uhh, It ain't easy

It ain't easy being me
Will I see the penitentary
or will I stay free Uhh..

I can't sleep
niggas plottin' on to kill me
While I'm dreaming
wake up screaming
cuz I can hear them suckas scheming
Probably paranoid,
Problem is
I'm supposed to be fantasing
A brother bite the bullet
Open I'm fire
And I thought
"I wonder why this the way it is"
Even now looking of for these
Killa kids
Bill Clinton can you recognize a nigga representin'
doin' 20 to life in San Quintan
Gettin calls from my nigga
Mike Tyson
Ain't nuttin' nice
Yo Pac, "Do something rightegous with your life
Even thou you innoccent
You still a nigga
So they figure
rather have behind bars then triggas
But I'm hold ya down
And holla Thug Life"
lickin' shots till I see
My niggas free
On my block

No, it ain't easy
Till I see my niggas free
On the block

It ain't easy being me
Will I see the penitentary
or will I stay free Uhh....

Lately, I've been reminicin'
about pepermint snaps
'n Junior High
hit the block
Keepin' eyes on the cops
While D-boyz slang rocks
Its the project ked without a conscience
I'm having dreams
of hearing screams at my concerts
meetin' all my childhood peers
through the years
tryin' to stack a little green
I was only seventeen
when I started servin' fiends
and I wish there was another way
to stack a dollar
and my appollar
cuz these hard times
make me wanna hollar
will I live to see tommorrow ?
am I fallin' off ?
I hit the weed
And proceed
to say, fuck all of y'all
ain't nobody down with me
I'm thuggin'
I can't go home
cuz mutha-fuckas think i'm buggin'
So now I'm in this high powered cell
at the county jail
Punk Judge
Got a grudge
Can't post no bail
what, do I do and these county blues
gettin' battered and bruised
by the you know who
and these fakes get the shakin'
when they face me, snakes
ain't got enough nuts to replace me
sittin' in this livin' hell
listenin' to niggas yell
tryin' to torture to tell
I'm gettin' ill
But ain't nobody sayin' much
The same old nuts
Is makin' bucks
While these sluts is gettin' fucked
they violated my pobation
and it seems
I'll be going on a long vacation
Meanwhile... It ain't easy
No it ain't easy

It ain't easy being me
Will I see the penitentary
or will I stay free Uhh...

This Site's Mission
The site showcases Tupac Shakur, a multi-talented legend, who was born in New York, New York on June 16, 1971 and died from fatal gun shot wounds in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 13, 1996. Not only famous for his music, he was also a well respected actor with several films.

2Pac was a deep, multi-faceted individual. 2Pac's lyrics always went deep into the meaning of many political and social subjects including violence, drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and broken families. He was well read as noted by his extensive reading list. 2Pac's poetry also reflected his many sides, some poems were motivated by love, others seeking to understand himself better and others by the cruel injustices of America and society.

2Pac was famous for being down to die for everything he represented -- always real and upfront. Some people consider 2Pac a modern-day prophet. Reading some of 2Pac's interviews, lyrics and quotes, its not hard to see why.

Being real and upfront, trouble always seemed to come naturally. Tupac was charged with rape, a crime he did not commit, but was still convicted of sodomy (forcibly touching the buttocks). Many witnesses seen the girl who made these accusations voluntarily give 2Pac oral sex on a night club dance floor. Tupac was also charged with shooting two off-duty police officers, but those charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. The fatal shooting in Vegas was the second shooting 2Pac was involved. The first occured in 1994 in New York.

Most likely, 2Pac's killer was Orlando Anderson, a south-side crip. Theories abound as to who coordinated the hit. Some believe it happened spur of the moment out of Orlando's rage. Others believe Suge Knight had 2Pac killed. The Las Vegas Times recently reported Biggie Smalls had 2Pac killed. Still others, believe it was an elaborate scheme and 2Pac is still alive (he faked his own death).

This site contains pictures of 2Pac, the latest news about 2Pac products and projects, information on 2Pac's tattoos, and anything else 2Pac related. The mission of this site is to show all sides of Tupac -- his thoughts, inspirations, and direction in life. All of this is to be shown through Tupac's lyrics, poetry, and interviews. Hopefully, we can give you a better understanding of Tupac Shakur.
